The 2008 25th Anniversary Dinner Dance...

This was held at Cottrell Park golf club on Friday 15th August to celebrate 25 years from our inception in 1983. There were many members present both current and past and the venue was ideal. Everyone also agreed that the standard of food and service was first class. At the end of the meal our chairman of the last 21 years, John James, thanked everyone that had contributed to the clubs continued success and the huge support he had recently received during a period of ill health. Many past committee members were also thanked particularly our recently newly retired treasurer of 11 years, John Miles, to whom a presentation was made. We also remembered members who had passed on over the 25 years.

Big thanks must go to the main organisers, Pauline and Malcolm champion and Malcolm Selley who all had done a fantastic and professional job. Pauline, the table flower arrangements were wonderful......
