On the October Club night we were very pleased to be able to present a cheque for £1000 to 'Y-Bont.'

Mari Major and her partner joined us for our meeting and accepted the cheque on behalf of Y-Bont which was presented by our Chairman John James.

Mari explained some of the work done at Y-Bont and mentioned that we were welcome at the forthcoming open day, or indeed at any time. They both then stayed and enjoyed the talk on The SS Great Britain given by our guest speaker Roger Selleck
