2004 Pencoed Show
This years show was a great success.
We were fortunate to have His Worship the Mayor of The Borough
of Bridgend, Doug John to open the show. The weather was
good - after having some rain during Saturday afternoon
and evening and some showers Sunday morning it cleared up
and turned out to be just right. Not hot enough to encourage
people to go to the beach instead !
We are still 'adding up the numbers',
but it seems that the show was a record breaker for the
SWCCC. The highest number of entries, thanks to a rush of
'late entries' and the highest number of public attendees.
As a result we will probably be in the fortunate position
to be able to donate a record amount to our charities this
year - most likely in the order of £10,000. All our
club members, sponsors, supporters and visitors can be happy
and proud that they helped to achieve this magnificent result.
