Due to impending open heart surgery I (Dave Hyde) will no longer compile
the events page, This is now being completed by Jonathan Griffiths.


7th Club Dinner being held at The Cottrell Park Golf Club
           menu available from Kim  £23/head   Deposit £8 payable
           to Kim Hyde, please state intention to attend to Kim.
           This year the music will be by means of a harpist


Kim and I are arranging a weekend away in 2020 to the Riviera Classic
 Car Show in  Paignton, Devon which is to be held on 26th July 2020 .
This would involve an overnight stop over on the Saturday 25th ,with a
meal, etc.   perhaps a stop over on the Sunday.
This show has a restricted entry (400 vehicles) and is fully subscribed
within a few weeks of the February entry pack download.
We will complete a block booking at the relevant time but need to know
who is to attend. Any extras after the date will have to make their own

           at N.E.C. Birmingham
           300 car and motor cycle clubs with over 3000 vehicles
           over 7 halls

17th Classic Car Show At Cardiff City
         Football Club  car park
         THE show organised by South Wales Classic Car Club

14th Beachside Classic Car Show 
        To be held at Beachside Holiday Park, Brean sands

27th South Wales Super car Festival
        To be held at Chepstow Race Course with ALL proceeds
             going to St. David's Hospice
             Cars attending including Bugatti, Morgan, Lotus, Maclaren
             Cateram, etc., etc.,   A real plethora of super cars

08th July Caerphilly Motoring Festival 
         To be held at Llancaiach Fawr Manor,
              Gelligaer Road, Treharris, Mid Glamorgan 
              CF46 6ER
             Organised by Glamorgan Classic Car Club

24/25/26th Welland Steam & Country Fair 2020
        To be held at Woodside farm, Welland Worcestershire WR13 6NG
             Steam Rally and Steam Powered old fair rides, Craft Tents, Auto jumble style market, Craft-               Tents, Classic car and motor cycle show.
             This a really good show with lots of things to see and do, also live demonstrations of corn                   threshing, ploughing machines etc, and not to be missed is the tractor pulling.

7/8/9th Roverfest Rally  2020
        This joint Rover Rally is to be held at Sywell Aerodrome
             in Northampton-shire with All Rover cars, Bicycles, Motor
             cycles and Land Rover models are welcome

 26th Super Car Saturday at Castle Coombe
              Enjoy fast passenger rides around the track in a variety
              of amazing cars at a cost from £ 30
              Entry to circuit £5 / person  £2.50 O.A.P.
              All proceeds are donated directly to the Stroke Association
              Hosted by Bristol Motor Club

27th Breakfast meet at Halse Nurseries
         Newport  on A 48     8 o'clock start
          A breakfast meet of all types of cars  modern to classic,
             limited on site show car space....... be early
28th Charity run from Barry to Billericay
         A Charity Run, with a Gavin and Stacey theme,  is being
             arranged in aid of six year old Fraser who has Duchenne
             Muscular Dystrophy to raise funds in order to build an
             accessable bedroom and bathroom at his parents Billericay home.
            The run is from barry - beulieu (135 miles) to Brooklands (80
            miles) to Billericay..through London (60 miles)
            The run is being led by a Tuk Tuk..fastest speed 35 m.p.h. so
            it will be a 3 day cruise not a blast
            There will be a promotional visit by the worlds Fastest Tuk Tuk
            in Barry on 14/15th. September
